Job Summary


Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following posts: Agricultural Workshop Supervisor (Gwenoro And Pitscottie Agricultural Hubs)

Duties And Responsibilities


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise repair and maintenance of farms fleet
Coordinate servicing of all tractors and vehicles
Identifying and ordering routine service kits
Maintenance of all farm equipment, engines and boreholes
Attending to all breakdowns on vehicles and equipment
Providing regular trainings to drivers and other equipment handlers on fair use from time to time.

Qualifications And Experience


QUALIFICATIONS
At least a certificate in Mechanics from a reputable institute
At least 10 years’ experience in Farm Workshop specialising in Farm equipment and vehicles
Clean class 2 drivers licence
Knowledge of repair and maintenance of irrigation pumps and other equipment is an added advantage
KEY COMPETENCIES
Knowledge in both petrol and diesel heavy and light motor vehicles
At least 10 years’ experience in farm workshop specialising in farm equipment and vehicles
Clean class 2 drivers licence
Knowledge of repair and maintenance of irrigation pumps and other equipment is an added advantage
General knowledge in poultry house management and maintenance
