Job description

      Driving omni-channel strategy and commercial operations:

  • Develop omni-channel strategies and tactical plans ensuring that the business is profitable and sustainable
  • Oversee the entire commercial function ensuring, seamless revenue generation across all platforms
  • Conduct research, analytics and propose solutions geared towards growing revenue
  • Idea generation, project feasibility & customized proposal generation for omni-channel campaigns
  • Oversee the management of campaigns and projects ensuring their timeous and effective execution
  • Oversee the commercial stream operations ensuring that set commercial targets are met
  • Manage current forecast and revenue delivery, monitoring revenue pipeline and leads across various Account Executive portfolios
  • Lead relevant brainstorm sessions, client briefing and monitoring of expected campaign deliverables, working closely with other key stakeholders
  • Ensure that all campaigns are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Prepare annual review of past year campaigns

         Revenue generation and team management:

  • Oversee performance of sales team in order to ensure optimal exploitation of revenue opportunities
  • Crafting and implementation of sales strategies and tactical plans in order to achieve and exceed set targets
  • Identify risks to the business with regards to advertising income and provide solutions
  • Review current redundant practices and facilitate improvement of past strategies
  • Develop, allocate and define portfolios, commission structures and revenue targets
  • Draft and propose budgets to the CEO and CFO, providing input for budget reviews, including implementation of forecasts
  • Produce advertising reports, competitor analysis and market insight for the CEO
  • Provide pricing detail for rate cards and update when due in line with business’s profitability initiatives
  • Ensure that the commercial stream team conform with briefing and workflow processes
  • Develop KPIs and manage performance reviews for the sales team

        Client Liaison and networking:

  • Conduct research and market analysis to identify strategic partnerships
  • Maintain a strong presence in the social scene to attract business partnerships
  • Manage client’s relationships ensuring that existing relationships are maintained and new ones forged and sustained
  • Ensure efficient preparation of campaign post-mortems and post campaign reports
  • Ongoing management and development of agency and client business to ensure alignment between client’s needs and in-house omni-channel solutions

Requirements

  • Relevant Marketing or Business Management degree
  • 7 years combined Sales and marketing experience
  • Digital sales experience
  • Go-to-market Media and FMCG experience advantageous
  • Outgoing personality
  • Entrepreneurial outlook
  • Project management, sales and marketing expertise
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and time management skills
