1. RESEARCH AND INNOVATION DIRECTORATE – COVID 19 TASK FORCE PPEs FACTORY
1.1 CLOTHING CUTTER (1 POST)

Duties And Responsibilities

Duties
 Spreading the fabric.
 Laying out pattern pieces/maker.
 Cutting out.
 Marker making.
 Sorting, bundling and numbering.
 Assembling of garments by matching patterns and dye lots.
 Joining sections of garments into finished products.
 Be able to operate various industrial sewing machines.
 Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications And Experience

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Applicants should:
 Have a minimum of 5 Ordinary level passes including English Language, and Mathematics at Grade C, or better
 Possesses a minimum of a Certificate in Clothing Construction/Garment production/Clothing and Textiles/Cutting and Designing or any other clothing production related courses from renowned institutions.
 A Diploma will be an added advantage.
 At least two (2) years working experience as a Cutter.
 Be able to work under tight deadlines
