Job Summary

Marble Coaches is a luxury coach operator operating in Zimbabwe doing the Harare-Bulawayo route as well as offering coaches for private hire. Its a subsidiary of Marble Investment Corporation registered offshore. Marble Coaches is now on an aggressive expansion path which includes opening new local routes for the luxury coach sector, diversifying to haulage/logistics (moving petroleum products from Mozambique to Zambia/DRC) and starting cross border luxury coach services (South Africa, Zambia and Malawi routes). You will also oversee the Zimbabwean trading subsidiary of Marble Investment Corporation that deals with investments on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange on a proprietary basis and property developments.

These expansion plans require a seasoned finance professional to oversee evaluation and execution. Strong Financial Planning and Analysis skills are required as well as business acumen. The job involves extensive travelling to Europe, Asia, South Africa and Zambia. Please, only apply if you are comfortable with the international travel requirements. Duties And Responsibilities

Strategic, Financial and Operational Planning
Participates in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs.
Develops and communicates financial vision and strategy.
Directs preparation of annual operating and business fiscal plans (budgets).
Develops financial forecasts and monitors financial health, monitoring guardrails around financial commitments.
Works with the business to optimize business performance and planning.
Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization (i.e., evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and investments).
Evaluates capital expenditures, investment activities and portfolio management.
Ensures timely and accurate business/financial reports and plans; presents them to the board of directors to increase financial transparency in management reporting and business line performance.
Determines appropriate capital structure.
Manages tax function

Qualifications And Experience

A Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
CFA is desirable though not essential
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
