Description
Administering and supporting, in consultation with the Executive Director the activities and programmes of action in the Directorate;
Providing executive assistance and support to the Executive Director with administrative tasks, logistical support, research and meeting preparation;
Integrating Directorate Support and Administration with Departments within Directorate as well as other Departments;
Assisting the Executive Director to coordinate and manage the objectives of the Directorate and provide support in achieving these objectives;
Acting as the liaison between the Statutory Obligations and Support Services Directorate and the Finance Directorate to ensure sound financial practices and to streamline the financial process of the directorate.
Candidate Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 and Tertiary qualification
Computer literacy essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be a team player who is able to work in a stressful environment with high demands
Systems orientated
Proficiency in more than one language advantageous
Self-motivated and dynamic
Prepared to work long and irregular hours
Systematic, comprehensive and displaying excellent attention to detail
Self-starter who is assertive and takes initiative
Must be able to display a can-do attitude
Previous experience in executive assistant, administration and support advantageous
Outcomes-orientated
Valid driver’s license preferable
