Job Summary

The position of Finance Clerk has arisen within the Authority and we hereby invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply:

Duties And Responsibilities

Receipting of daily cash receipts
Reconciliation of daily cash movement
Updating the cash book on a daily basis
Maintaining accounting records, filling systems and computer files
Undertaking general clerical duties
Matching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices.
Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy
Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence required.
Assist with end of year preparation and procedure
Provide financial support to team members
Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role

Qualifications And Experience

Diploma /Higher Diploma in Accounting /Finance
At least 2 years experience
