Job Summary

The purpose of the job is to ensure day to day management of the financial information for the Company, financial reporting based on the financial accounting processes, maintaining a sound control environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

 . Preparation of weekly update to management
 Reporting to Management – monthly management
 . Preparation of statutory Financial Statements in
compliance with Financial Reporting Standards
 . Overall Custody of the general ledger, capturing,
maintenance and supervising all entries in the GL.
 . Physical verification of fixed assets on a half yearly basis
 .Second signatory on bank payments
 . Maintaining a strong control environment within ACL.
 . Internal and External Audit Management.
 . Cash flow management and Liquidity Management,
providing relevant information to Treasury department
 . Assist in Due Diligence to Credit Line and potential Credit
Line providers.
 . Compliance Champion within the department
 . Attendance at Board Audit Meetings
 . Assist CFO with Company secretarial work.
 . Communicating with IT on system challenges
 . Overall responsibility for IFRS and other training
schedule for the department
 . Assisting CFO as and when requested.

Qualifications And Experience

. Chartered Accountant (CA)
. Bachelor of Accounting degree
. 1 year financial accounting experience.
. Wide knowledge in Financial Reporting
. Competence in computerized financial reporting systems is
highly desirable
. Ability to analyse and interpret financial figures.
. Ability to prepare and present concise reports;
. Good financial reporting and analysis skills
. Must have working knowledge of various computer
programmes such as MS Excel, Ms Power point, and MS
Word and Accounting packages.
. Ability to establish, implement and review control systems.
