Our client NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited seeks to engage a dynamic, self-driven and results oriented professional to fill the critical and strategy role of Group Cief Executive Officer. The incumbent will provide strategy leadership and direction to the organisation as well as lead a dedicated team of technica and management experts, so that they drive business performance and achieve rhe desired organizational growth and revenue objectives.Our client is looking for the very best in the field , someone with extensive relevant knowledge and experience, who embraces best practice and has passion for results driven strategies.

Duties And Responsibilities

Key Job Functions
the group chief executive officer is responsible for leading the development and execution of NetOne’s business strategies with a view to creating shareholder value as well as all day to day management decisions for implementing the company’s long and short term plans. The Group CEO will also manage the interest of various stakeholders of the businesses in addition to the pursuit of growth, stability and profitability objectives.
Principal Job Accountabilities
• To ensure that NetOne’s business plans, commercial operations and strategies are developed, reviewed, agreed upon and implemented to meet the goals set by the Board for growth and profitable
• Lead, in conjunction with the Board , the development of NetOne’s strategy to maximize shareholder value and enhance the positioning of the company
• Lead and oversee the implementation of NetOne’s long- and short-term plans in accordance with its strategy
• Monitor the external environment, regulatory and compliance dictates, read the market, anticipate change, assess the likely impact of change to the business, alert the Board to those and recommend appropriate responses
• Establish parameters for expanding the range of products and services and for introducing new technologies in the business
• Access the principal risks of the company and ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed
• Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place
• Ensure that the company has appropriate systems to enable it to conduct its activities lawfully and ethnically
• Review and report to the Board quarterly and annually the performance levels and progress with regards to the business plan, business activities, benchmarks, operating targets among other key performances indicators
• Ensure that the company develops sustainability strategies to ensure that it maintains high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility whenever it does business
• Develop and foster healthy working relationships with key stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally
• Promote and conduct the affairs of NetOne with the highest standards of integrity, probity and corporate governance

Qualifications And Experience


Qualifications and experience
• Must be a holder of a business studies , administration, finance, information systems, computer science, electronic engineering, telecommunications engineering degree or equivalent
• An MBA , MBL, MSc, IT Engineering, or other equivalent Master’s Degree is required
• Current membership of a relevant professional body
• A minimum of 10years similar work experience, 8 years of which should have been at a senior managerial level
• Experience in the telecommunications sector would be an added advantage
Competences
• Must be an innovative and business oriented person with a through grounding in business management and related dynamics
• Must have experience in developing, planning and implementing strategy
• Must have a through understanding of market trends and related dynamics and be able to advise the Board and Management accordingly
• Must have excellence communication and negotiation skills and must have proven experience in carrying out negotiatrions at high business levels
• Must have a proven track record of driving business growth in a substantial organization
• A strong understanding of corporate government standards , finance and perfomace management strategy
