We’re looking for an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial spirited individual to join our Hilti Store Durban team in the position of Hilti Store Representative. But this is no ordinary customer service role, as ours is a uniquely high-performing and supportive working culture.

What does the role involve?

Your primary responsibility is to generate incremental, profitable sales through outbound calling to surrounding customers (within a defined radius). You will provide professional service and strong knowledge of Hilti products, services and software to customers, ensuring the successful achievement of company objectives and growth within the scope of the assigned account base. Between serving customers, you’ll carry out day-to-day processes including, but not limited to, entering orders, receiving goods, accepting repairs and managing payments and inventories.

It’s an exciting, hands-on role, where you’ll also demonstrate our products, cross-sell our software and services, and advise customers on the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions to all walk-in customers too.

The role has a direct influence on the organization’s strategy for sustainable Account Development.

What you need is:

  • Degree preferred or equivalent work experience (2-3 years)
  • Previous/Current retail and/or sales preferred
  • Strong customer management and development skills required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Drive to develop strong and sustainable customer relationships
  • Strong team player and influencer
  • Enthusiastic about hands-on training and workshop exercises
