Tracom Services Ltd is introducing a new telemedicine service in Kenya. We are looking for Registered Nurses to employ for the service. The work involves offering below services via phone or video.

• Schedule appointments and refer patients to specialists
• Assisting and consulting with patients over the phone or video
• Educating patients on different ways to manage their symptoms
• Remotely monitoring patient’s state and perform triage virtually
• Pre-surgical and post-surgical care  
• Providing medical advice for patients with minor health issues
• Supporting medical response teams in taking patients into the hospitals where required
• Evaluate appropriateness of referrals and provide feedback to physicians
• Follow and expedite referral process
• Coordinate appointment time with the primary physician, patient and clinic schedules
• Develop forms and questionnaires to facilitate exchange of information
• ensure that requested lab/tests are ordered, and results are sent to specialist
• Schedule follow-up appointments

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Kenya
• At least 5 years working experience
• Excellent telecommunication skills
• Previous telecommunication nursing experience will be an added advantage
