Do you have Business Product skills with focused attention to detail and proven experience in premium brand? We are currently looking for a Retail Account Specialist join our Southern Africa Country Product Team. Think, Innovate and Work with ASUS, a Technology Leader.

Work Tasks:

  • Responsible for managing sales, product marketing and tactical planning across key accounts within the retail space in South Africa and report to the Retail Manager.
  • Drive the business to balance revenue & volume and market share goals
  • Build growth plan to maximize market share and effectively manage product mix
  • Business development planning with key retailers to create new business opportunities
  • Manage business relationship with key retailers – at buyer level
  • Work collaboratively with retailers to develop joint partner plans to drive category development
  • Responsible for inventory management, supply chain efficiency, retail operational alignment and financial claims
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans including retail programs with retailers including co-marketing, promotional activity, training programs and in store brand presence
  • Manage retail account product forecasting and advertising promotional plans to drive sell in sell out
  • Responsible for implementing training plans for retail sales force to educate and build awareness of ASUS brand/products
  • Responsible for account product assortment planning measured on share of shelf and share of advertising voice
  • Prepare quarterly retailer reviews
  • Understand customers’ business model (procumbent, sales process) and leverage customers’ strength to develop strategic partnership with customers.
  • Gather and monitor competitor/market information.
  • Execute strategic channel action plans from the Retail Manager

Qualifications

  • Matric
  • Work experience within IT channel
  • Minimum 2 years account management experience in sales, face-to-face negotiations with buyers & ability to plan promotions & manage retailer stock levels
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to deliver in a fast paced environment
  • Own transport & driver’s license
