Job Summary

Grindrod Grindrod Rail Consultancy Services is currently recruiting for a suitably qualified and experienced Stores Assistant to join their dynamic team in Pretoria on a 6 months temp contract.

Duties And Responsibilities

Keeping stock control system up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
Stock take
Highest standard of housekeeping kept at all time
Ensure all stock control procedures are in place
Investigate, resolve stock take variances timeously
Provide solutions to resolve and prevent future variances
Manage stock
Issue and receive all stock
Change store layout to optimize space utilization
Daily planning of stock issue
Initiate continuous improvement projects

Qualifications And Experience

Minimum Requirements
Forklift License
Preferred experiential background in locomotive operations
Computer Literate
