Job Summary


The Trader’s Assistant will be responsible for the management of Free State Oil’s Trader’s contracts and administration to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Duties And Responsibilities


Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and manage expenses.
Post daily Mark to Market, Initial Margin & Booking Fee journals.
Monitor and manage expenses related to trading that includes Brokerage Fees and Variation Margin.
Comply to VKB’s Risk Management policy.
Continuously monitor and report on the progress and availability of stock on contracts.
Verify the accreditation process to ensure FICA documents of all clients and suppliers are in place before the transaction takes place.
Reconciliate of Purchase Orders, loading sheets, Raw Materials and Finished Goods
Review external load sheets to ensure correctness.
Ensure correctness of reconciliations and timeous distribution to the relevant personnel.
Review the Hedge- & Sales Admin orders and report deviations from normal business practice to the Financial Manager.
Report recon items on stock reconciliations to ensure that they are resolved timeously.
Continuous liaison with internal departments with regards to relevant transactions.

Qualifications And Experience


Requirements
Grade 12/ NQF4
Proficient in MS Office with the ability to work on EXCEL on an advanced level
3 Year’s previous experience in a financial administrative role
Proven understanding of financial transactions
